Nine declared for Cash Pot Trophy

Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta mounts a four-pronged challenge for Saturday's $2.95 million Cash Pot 'Only One For Me' Trophy over 1200 metres at Caymanas Park, race number one in the Supreme Ventures Triple Crown series for native-bred two-year-olds.
Yesterday, nine youngsters were declared at the overnight stage for the Cash Pot Trophy. The draw for post position was conducted live in the Trainers' Room at Caymanas Park by CTL's acting racing secretary Kingsley Gentles, JRC steward Eustace Williams, and Carlene Edwards, senior corporate communications officer of Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL).
The series, which offers total prize money of $10.8 million - inclusive of $6.55 million from SVL - continues on November 26 with the $3.6 million Pick 3 Challenge Trophy over 1400 metres and culminates on Boxing Day with the $4.25 million Supreme Ventures Jamaica 2-Y-O Stakes over 1600 metres.
Draw order
The draw, post position order, one to nine, is as follows: AMESOME CAMILLE (Omar Walker), EL PATRON (Dick Cardenas), EXOTIC GOLD (Ameth Robles), MOM'S SECRET (Tyrone Nelson), ALL CORRECT (Winston Griffiths), EDISON (Wesley Henry), CANTARE (Shane Ellis), POOCHIE LIU (Trevor Simpson) and LADYLIKE (Dane Nelson).
DaCosta will saddle CANTARE, POOCHIE LIU, ALL CORRECT and EXOTIC GOLD.
The card will also feature the annual renewal of the None Such Sprint (grade one) over 1200 metres in which champion sprinter, SAINT CECELIA, is one of eight horses entered.
