Wasteful Boys' Town finishing irks Price

Anger and dissatisfaction were the adjectives which Boys' Town's head coach, Andrew Price, used to describe the way he felt about their 0-0 draw against Harbour View at Collie Smith Drive yesterday.
The Red Brigade drew Price's anger after failing to convert numerous chances, as they played former champions Harbour View in a National Premier League (NPL) encounter.
"We are very disappointed, especially playing at home when you get so many chances. I expected us to at least put away one of them," said Price.
Oneil Thompson, Jermaine Allen, Marvin Stewart, Renae Lloyd, Kearn Binns and Romondo Johnson were guilty of missing clear-cut scoring opportunities for Boys' Town.
"I think that it is a Jamaican problem, and as coaches we have to continue to work because our strikers have to have composure in front of the goal," said Price. "I think that with a bit more composure in front of goal we would have got all three points."
Price added that fatigue was also an issue for his unit. According to the long-standing Boys' Town head, the last 20 minutes of the game told a tale of weary legs.
"We weren't ourselves in the last five minutes because we created a lot of chances, and if we were a bit stronger then we would have put away a number of them."
The feeling from the other bench was quite the opposite, as Harbour View's head coach, Donovan Hayles, sounded relieved.
"I am happy with result, especially against a Boys' Town team that is doing extremely well," Hayles said.
"However, I would have been much happier if we had got all three points. I love the progress of my team but what I don't like is the results that we have been getting," Hayles added.
"Nevertheless, I think that we put in a sterling performance, especially playing away from home," he concluded.
