Reid, Gama head to Mexico

Jamaica Football Federation General Secretary Horace Reid and Technical Director Walter Gama will represent the federation at a FIFA organised seminar for general secretaries and technical directors from all CONCACAF Member Associations affiliated to FIFA. The seminar is to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, October 25-28.

The objective of the seminar is to improve the cooperation and communication between general secretaries and technical directors in the execution of the administrative and technical functions of the federations.

The four-day seminar will have presentations on topics in the following technical areas: Women's football, grassroots development; coaching development and youth development

FIFA has selected Jamaica's coaching development programme as a case sample and model that it is particularly impressed with and the Jamaican delegation has been asked to make a presentation on this topic.

In the area of administration, there will be presentations on topics on event management; office communication; communication with the media and management of the member association.

Reid and Gama will depart the island on Monday.
