Dancing, the hallmark of Flair's 27th

It might have started out like an intimate social gathering, but Flair Magazine's 27th anniversary party ended with a bang.
The event, which was held at the Guardsman Group Limited on Old Hope Road in St Andrew, kicked off with people mingling and partaking in the wide array of food and beverage available. Renaissance Disco added to the atmosphere with songs like Elephant Man's Log On and Sean Paul's Like Glue. With somewhat more mature selections, the disc jock got patrons rocking to soca songs like David Rudder's Give Praise and Allison Hinds' Roll It Gal.
With the anniversary cake cut by the Flair team at midnight, Coppershot Disco totally transformed the party with Rihanna's Cheers - the song getting patrons to move.
While there weren't many people doing the dance moves, hip-hop dance songs like Cali Swag District's Dougie, Unk's Two Step and GS Boyz Stanky Legg were well received.
Although they provide a much smoother vibe, Sean Paul's Got 2 Luv U and Mavado and Laza Morgan's One By One still had everyone dancing.
By the time the selector got to Vybz Kartel's Summer Time and Popcaan's Raving, there was non-stop dancing in the well-decorated venue. Coppershot did not stop there as they went on to play dance songs that had people doing the Macarena and Electric Boogie. The high energy continued with songs like Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling and Beyonce's Who Runs The World (Girls).
Renaissance Disco returned with much energy, albeit older songs from artistes like Super Cat, Ninja Man and Dennis Brown. The oldies but goodies didn't last all night though, as Renaissance also played Mavado and Stacious' Come Into My Room and Vybz Kartel and Spice's Rampin' Shop.
Dancing seemed to intensify even more with the playing of soca, which included Lil Rick's Go Dung. Adele's Someone Like You on an alternative beat was also a hit. The dancing continued to the close of the party at minutes after 2 a.m.
