Johnson gets shot at IBF title

QUEBEC CITY, Canada (CMC):
Glen Johnson returns to the ring on Saturday, looking to prove that he is still a major force in the sport.
The Jamaica-born Johnson turns 43 in two months time and faces undefeated Lucian Bute for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) World super-middleweight (168 lb) title at the Pepsi Coliseum.
"I have plans on going on and moving forward," Johnson told BoxingScene.com. "I feel great. I look to put on a tremendous performance (against Bute).
"I expect to come out of the fight victorious. For me, it doesn't have anything to do with age. I feel great and I'm just looking forward to putting on a great fight."
Johnson, who lives in Miami, has a fight record of 51 wins, including 35 KOs, 15 losses and two draws.
He stepped down from the light-heavyweight division (175 lb) a year ago to participate in Showtime's Super Six World Boxing Classic at super-middleweight and has decided to stick around the division.
