The Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week debutante, Christopher's at Hermosa Cove, St Ann, was the venue for a chef's table featuring celebrity Chef Levi Roots' recipes, on Wednesday, October 26. Guests took the leisurely bus ride from Stony Hill, St Andrew, with Stephanie Scott, creator of the seven-year gastronomic feast, and thoroughly enjoyed the lavish feast prepared by Christian Ghisays.

In his brief remarks, Levi Roots thanked everyone for coming and chronicled his rise to success from humble beginnings to a recent invitation to lunch with Britain's Prince Charles. He showcased his sauce that was also launched in Jamaica this week, and encouraged everyone to support it.
