Bridgmohan lands double at Churchill Downs

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (CMC):
Jamaican reinsman Shaun Bridgmohan captured a double at Churchill Downs on Wednesday, as the fall meet continued to head to a close at the celebrated racetrack.
Bridgmohan won with the filly Dare to Dream in race seven, before returning to the winners' enclosure in race nine with Exclusive Love.
The brace carried him to only four wins in 16 rides for the season, which ends on Wednesday, November 30.
He opened his account over six furlongs when he steered Dare to Dream to a convincing win by 31/4 lengths.
Going off at odds of 3-1, Dare to Dream stalked the pace set by the duelling Pretty Gal Too and Sought, before being sent to the front heading into the stretch.
The three-year-old then took command and cruised clear at the wire.
Exclusive Love
In the penultimate event over the longer distance of 1-1/8th miles, Bridgmohan kept the favourite Exclusive Love in touch with the leader Lily Again, who was through the quarter in 24.59 seconds and the half-mile in 48.99.
With three furlongs to run, Bridgmohan moved the four-year-old bay filly into contention and she responded nicely, overpowering the leader and taking command in the stretch.
Revelstoke came to challenge, but Exclusive Love held on, crossing the wire half-length clear.
