Pelican Volleyball tourney begins today

The sixth annual staging of University of the West Indies (UWI) Pelican International Volleyball three-day competition tips off today at the UWI Gymnasium Bowl, starting at 10 a.m.
Eight teams are down to contest the female section while 10 teams will compete in the male equivalent. The tournament, which has attracted teams from the United States, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados, will end on Sunday.
The participating teams in the male section are UWI A, Vikings, Venus, UWI B, G.C. Foster College, Big Sepos (Trinidad), Cave Hill (Barbados), Deacons (Barbados), Technocrats and Scotia (The Bahamas).
The female teams are Technocrats (Trinidad), UWI A, Venus, Viqueens, Agozar (USA) Cave Hill (Barbados) and G.C. Foster College.
