Sexy In Black remains elegant, stylish

Arguably one of the hottest annual December parties, Sexy In Black returns this year with the 'Elegant and Stylish' tag line. It will be held on Saturday, December 3.
Judah Nugent, CEO of Khaotik Entertainment which puts on 'Sexy in Black', describes the party as a ladies' magnet. "The name 'Sexy In Black' appeals to women, so that is why we go for 'Stylish and Elegant', because that is how women tend to carry themselves. And since its inception, we have had a huge female following," said Nugent.
He added that the event is widely talked about, and many persons regard it as their must-attend event for the year. "Trust me, the theme is working. People have been talking about it, especially women. So this is undoubtedly a female-pulling party. A lot of people have been keeping parties, but not of this nature. Our elegance makes us unique," Nugent said.
For this year's staging, Khaotic has decided to 'enforce' the black and sexy concept. According to the promoter, patrons have avoided the dress code in previous stagings. However, this time it is encouraged that everybody subscribe to the black-clothing colour code.
The party will also be hosted on the deck of The Caribbean Queen, sailing from 3b Port Royal, and will carry a VIP, all-inclusive element. "We initially wanted to go to a club, but opted to go to the boat instead, to give it that sexy ambience. People have kept parties there before, but believe me when I say we will transform the boat in a manner that has never been done before," Nugent disclosed.
He anticipates no less than 800 patrons from the loyal Sexy In Black crowd to turn up, because of the calibre of the event tied in with a decent entry price. "The fee is comfortable, it's only $700 for females, $1,000 for males and $2,500 for VIP pre-sold only, and it's not exaggerating when I say that price is unbeatable," he said.
The musical ambience will be set by six professional DJs and sound systems - Jam Rock, Code Red, Kutchie, Fire Squad, ZJ Wah Wah and John Blacks. "Every DJ is going to come with a different genre, so we won't have the DJs playing the same thing over and over," Nugent said.
Sexy In Black will be hosted by Snoop Rok and will feature models from Feu Et Glace. Food will be provided by Zen's Kitchen.
"This party is the hottest party on the 3rd of December. There is no party that can be compared with it. This is what people have been longing for - and look at it, the price is comfortable. Big up the fans and friends that have supported us over the years," Nugent said.
Part proceeds of Sexy In Black will go towards charity and the event will also offer prizes and surprises, courtesy of the sponsors, which include Magnum, Wata, Ruff Rider Condoms, Hair Vibes, JB Overproof Rum, West Kingston Wholesale and Party Wristbands.
