SOFIA (AP):
Bulgarian police are investigating a series of arson attacks on cars throughout the country over the past two weeks.
Investigators say more than 40 vehicles have been torched since the beginning of this month, including five early yesterday.
Police have not received a claim of responsibility so far, and are assuming that these acts are mostly done by individuals, rather than by a bigger organisation.
A 33-year-old man was arrested in the capital on Tuesday on suspicion of arson, but just hours later, several cars were set on fire in a Sofia suburb, including one parked close to a police station.
