The happy bunch of seniors of the Woman's Club of St Andrew met at Alhambra Inn Hotel for their annual Christmas luncheon on Thursday, December 8. Special guests included Lady Hall, wife of former Governor General Sir Kenneth Hall; Juliet Holness, wife of Prime Minister Andrew Holness; Lorna Golding, wife of former Prime Minister Bruce Golding; and guest speaker Marigold Harding, custos of St Andrew.

The decor was festive, the fare was scrumptious and Keith Lyn's music provided just the right mood for the pleasant afternoon's proceedings. Custos Harding gave an informative talk about what it requires to become a justice of the peace and congratulated President Jeanne Watson and her executive for continuing to attract women who were dedicated, of good character and willing to continue in the service of the club. Mrs Watson thanked everyone for a good year of work and wished them a safe and happy Yuletide season.
