It has been just over a year since he decided to become a solo act, a decision many artistes end up regretting. He doesn't.

Gospel Artiste Sean Lypher is not slowing down. There has been great demand for an album and the artiste has - in his own special way - answered that call.

On Christmas Eve, 137 Maxfield Avenue will come alive as he launches his long awaited mixtape titled Make One, inside a hip new spot called Xposure.

Lypher, known for his engaging lyrical flows and energetic stage presence, has brought a unique flavour to the gospel scene. Since his transition to a one-man show in November 2010, the artiste has surpassed industry expectations and still gets major support from his former Sons of the Prophet (S.O.P), bandmates Damoi Simpson and Shaun Hart, on his quest to encourage, edify and empower youth through the gospel.

The whirlwind success of the video to the title track Make One was unprecedented, grabbing the coveted No. 1 spot for several weeks on CVMTV's Hitlist and France's Carivibez TV Top 20 Music Video Countdown, gaining the artiste international recognition and a growing fanbase spanning Brazil, Kenya and Nigeria.

Before this, Lypher gained top nods as the 2010 New Artiste of the Year at a well-known local gospel awards show in April, and is now nominated for the 2011 Artiste of the Year on heavy hitter Gospel radio station Love101FM.

A recently released single, Christmas Everyday, featuring Alicia Foster, is currently gaining favourable support from radio DJs.

All this and the rapper keeps his eyes on bringing uplifting music to his eager fans.
