OS.MO.SIS debuts 'Ultimate Nightlife'

OS.MO.SIS promoters promised to debut their new format with the "Ultimate Nighltife" theme, and by all accounts, it was an Ultimate Night for all who attended on Friday, December 23, at Caymanas Estate.

Complete with surprise performances by international dancehall artiste Sean Paul, local chart topper Aidonia, and Digicel ambassador I-Octane, OS.MO.SIS proved once again that they set the standard for fabulous parties.

By 1 a.m., the dance floor in party central was filled to capacity as partygoers grooved to the musical stylings of Jazzy T, DJ Nicco, and Sanjay from Coppershot, while being entertained by the dancers in the Carreras Spotlight booth. After enjoying Smirnoff Caipiroska mixes on entry, patrons filed through the expansive food court, where they enjoyed dishes from So So Seafood, TGIF, Cuddy'z, Say it with Cakes, Pizza Hut, KFC, Zanders, the Cove, and Monsta's Grill. This year's menu included jerk chicken pasta, jerk shrimp pasta, garlic shrimp, oriental shrimp, grilled ribs, grilled beef, jerk chicken, jerk pork, curried goat, and Baileys mini cheesecakes.

Cabana City, which is sponsored by Smirnoff, The Gleaner Company, and Digicel, was home to the local celebrities, sponsors, and entertainers, including Sean Paul, Yendi Phillipps, Chino, the Genius, I-Octane, British high jumper Germaine Mason, Safia Cooper, Shelly-Ann Curran, and Grand Palladium's Dimitri Kosvogiannis. The Digicel Cabana featured L'Acadco drummers matching the beats from the speakers with their dance-inducing harmonies. This again was an example of what the OS.MO.SIS promoters refer to as the "New Osmosis", where the unexpected happens.

For 2012, OS.MO.SIS plans to reveal its complete "New Osmosis" model, which, according to the team, "will transition the event into the new realm of event execution to further wow their ever loyal patrons".
