The Gleaner brings A Taste of Jazz

The Gleaner Company Ltd, in association with Jamaica Jazz and Blues - The Art of Music and The Deck, will be hosting its second annual 'Taste of Jazz', this Thursday at The Deck, located at 14 Trafalgar Road, at 8 p.m.
The event, as its name suggests, promises a taste of some local performers who will be on the show next week.
Thursday's show will feature a unique combination of vocalists and instrumentalists, a combination of genres and just great musical entertainment.
The Gleaner will also be giving persons a chance to win and to buy discounted tickets along with other giveaways.
For entry, all that is needed is a Gleaner masthead of January 19, 2011, or a printout from our jamaica-gleaner website, inclusive of the dateline of the same day.
Newly laid out, The Deck has extended its venue to provide a relaxed, spacious atmosphere for what promises to be an evening full of good music and fun. Keep your eyes posted to this space for some of the performances which will be giving patrons A Taste of Jazz.
The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival is set for January 26 to 28 at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.
