My grandmother would have turned in her grave if she saw me starting a day without having something warm to drink.
She always said, 'You need to ketch up you stomach.'
So, after exhausting my taste buds on Milo and Swiss Miss for far too long, a friend suggested that I turn to green tea. He told me that he had recently started drinking green tea and went on and on about all the benefits it offered.
I tried a few, but I didn't like the taste. I couldn't understand why things that are good for you couldn't taste good as well. Then I discovered Lipton Green Tea Collection. It contains a few different flavours of green tea, pure green tea, mint, orange passion fruit and jasmine, lemon ginseng, honey and mixed berry. They taste great. The aroma, the flavour, are all intoxicating. No harsh green tea taste here.
Each teabag comes in its own individual packet. On the back of the pack it's noted that 80 per cent of the contents are sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified Tea Estates. These estates have met the criteria for protecting the land and providing better working conditions for their workers. It might well be a marketing ploy but I am sold and I now sip my tea with a clear conscience. Of all the flavours I can't say I have a favourite. Even the pure green tea now tastes great to me. Green tea has never tasted so good! Try a cup today, I vouch for it.
