Thanks to the Harrison Town community
THE EDITOR, Sir:
On Friday, January 27, 2012, while travelling with three other family members to the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, our car, on exiting the Fern Gully, developed brake problems which caused us to crash and overturn in a gully. We the Norton family wish to express our extreme gratitude to the many persons from Harrison Town who came to our assistance during this very harrowing ordeal.
While we were not able to ascertain the names of many of these individuals, we wish to thank Annette, Lenworth Reid and family, and the police personnel who were very quick to arrive at the scene, as well as Constable Miller, Woman Corporal Leslie and Corporal Galloway from the Ocho Rios Police Station, and the staff at the St Ann's Bay Hospital, especially Howard McKenzie.
We cannot thank you enough for all you did, but use this medium to indicate our heartfelt gratitude not just for rescuing us but for comforting us in a very stressful situation.
God bless you all.
