As has become almost customary, the Grammy Awards have nominated two Marleys in the Best Reggae Album category.

While Stephen and Ziggy Marley will be hoping that their nominations will turn into victories, their brother Damian is hoping for the same in a completely different category.

The Best Reggae Album category is completed by Monty Alexander (Harlem-Kingston Express Live!), Israel Vibration (Reggae Knights) and Shaggy (Summer In Kingston).

Ziggy is nominated for his Wild And Free album, and Stephen Marley for his Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of Life.

FEATURED SONG

Damian Marley is featured on Bruno Mars's Album of the Year nomination, Doo-Wops and Hooligans, in the song Liquor Store Blues.

The song depicts the troubles of youth who see no sign of upward mobility or improvement in their lives. It sarcastically points out that a good remedy for the problem is to drink liquor and take drugs.

"Cus ma job got mi goin' nowhere, so I aint got a thing to lose," sings Mars.

Damian explains later in the song the kind of paranoia that takes over the person who has no hope and uses liquor and drugs to make his days go by.

"Here comes Junior Gong, I'm flying high like Superman, thinking that I run the whole block," sings Damian.

The song was a monster hit in the early part of 2012 and joins a number of singles on the album, including Grenade, which have made Mars a household name.
