Do you think the prime minister should answer impromptu questions in Parliament?
I think the PM should, every leader has to show they are capable of leading, and on the spot thinking is key to being a leader.
- StashManagement
Since the nation's issues arise in real time and do not give seven days' notice, questions should be answered in real time also.
- MizDurie
Yes, questioning a PM allows us to assess how much grasp they have of the issues.
- ReformJa
No, I don't think so!

Do you think the $43 million paid to Aubyn Hill for the divestment of the sugar assets was excessive? Why?
I didn't know that's the price we have to pay for help from patriots of this country. Was this a sale or a sell-out?
- Morris Stewart
When you agree to pay in order to get the job done and you're satisfied with end result, then the cost shouldn't matter.
- Kurt Peterkin
Depends on what you compare it to. If you are comparing it to the ordinary man, then, yes, it would appear excessive. If you are comparing it to jobs which are similar in nature, then it is a fair salary.
- Lauren Riley
Not if it got the job done and the resulting rewards will be greater. Then no big deal.

Do you think parents of borrowers should be included on the board of the Students' Loan Bureau?
I can't see any reason why parents should not be on the board. They can be valuable assets to applicants.
- Angela Hill-Martin
No, I think their suggestions will be somewhat biased, because each parent would think about the interest of his or her child and not the state of the country on a whole in terms of jobs when to repay.
- Shackera Keradadiva Campbell
If it is parents from the lower middle-income and lower-income [strata], then it is fine. They would have a better understanding of the pressures faced by persons seeking the loan.
- Akeem Dobson
Yes, I think so! Parents should have a say in the decision-making process or otherwise.
