United Way shows 'Good Deeds'

The charitable United Way of Jamaica premiered Tyler Perry's movie Good Deeds and hosted a mini art auction on Tuesday night at the Palace Cineplex, Sovereign Centre. Proceeds from the event will assist United Way's education initiative geared towards helping 50 early-childhood institutions islandwide as they advance towards becoming model institutions. Member of the organisation Dr Marcia Forbes thanked everyone for their support and outlined some of the achievements of the United Way since its inception. The mini-auction of donated items was ably conducted by Dr Douglas McDonald.
