New car mart on the lot
CarMax Jamaica Limited is the newest kid on the used-car lot. Launched recently, it is headed by Ian Lyn, a former head of the Jamaica Used Car Dealers Association, who has more than 20 years' experience in the business both locally and overseas.
Lyn says the dealership is poised to make its mark on the local automobile industry because of its mission to offer the best car-buying experience to consumers; CarMax Jamaica is ready to serve. The brainchild of Lyn, he plans to use his wealth of automobile experience to put the customer at the forefront. "We believe through proper customer service and relations, we will be able to service the needs of the Jamaican people," said Lyn who is also the managing director of CarMax Jamaica.
"It is our mission to make the car-buying experience a pleasant one," said Lyn, adding that CarMax Jamaica will give customers the option to order their cars at wholesale prices directly from suppliers, choosing the year, make, model, colour and specifications while saving huge sums of money.
Cars that are ordered directly from suppliers will arrive within six weeks. This will allow the customer to benefit directly from the prices offered by them. The new dealership will also facilitate the purchase and shipment of the vehicles, thereby removing the hassle away from the customer.
Customers will also be able to order all Japanese, Korean and European made cars including Kia, Hyundai, Benz, BMW, VW, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, Subaru and more.
