Montego bay's Charles Gordon Market will ask the $70 price this week while downtown Kingston's less expensive locations will ask $50 this week for a pound of onions.

Sweet pepper

Sweet peppers are now being offered at $50 per pound in most retail markets.

Montego Bay's Charles Gordon market is also asking the $50 price.

In downtown Kingston, the asking price is $30/$40 for a pound of sweet pepper.

Negro Yam

This has also increased in price over the past few weeks.

It is currently being quoted at $50 in a few retail markets.

Montego Bay's Charles Gordon market is also quoting the $50 price this week. In downtown Kingston, you can get a pound of negro yam for $30 this week.

Callaloo

Montego Bay's Charles Gordon market is asking $50 this week for a bundle as is most rural retail markets.

Downtown Kingston locations are asking as little as $30/$40 this week for a bundle of callaloo.

Sweet Potato

This is on fair offer this week with prices ranging from $30 to $50 for a pound.

Broccoli

Markets in May Pen and Spanish Town will ask prices from $100 to $120 for a pound of this fine-tasting vegetable this week, while Montego Bay's Charles Gordon Market will ask $120 for that same quantity.

In downtown Kingston's less expensive outlets you can get a pound of broccoli for as little as $60/$80.
