In the words of the radiant bride, "A relationship built on trust, moments to cherish, a life full of security will enable you to put your deepest feelings in the palm of your partner's hand knowing that they will be handled with care."

This is exactly what she did. Latoya Redwood and Michael Thompson-Hall exchanged vows on May 5 at the Fire Baptised Holiness Church of the Americans on Waltham Park Road in Kingston, and blessed by Elder H.R. Clouclough and Pastor Gifton Wallace.

Wearing a brand-new 2012 Mori Lee gown, Redwood was radiant and exuded confidence as she took her place beside the groom at the altar. Before a packed church, the young couple exchanged vows and, in keeping with custom, lit candles which were handed to them by Leonie Bennett and Vivienne Sterling.

The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites provided banqueting services in the Summerset Suite, draped in purple and lavender with an interlocking heart theme also captured by the cake designer.

Guests felt extra special seated at personalised tables dressed with the same material as the heart-shaped programmes and named after the couple. Silver candle centrepieces on the tables were complemented by fresh white and lavender flowers.

The couple, well known in the export industry where Latoya works and the financial sector where Michael works, honeymooned in Kingston and then on the island's north coast.
