The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated Smirnoff Dream Weekend. Preparations are in high gear and title sponsor Smirnoff is also in party mode as it covers all the bases to ensure its consumers are well taken care of. A major part of that has been to create new signature Smirnoff cocktails for the events. To add to its portfolio, Smirnoff will introduce the new flavours of blueberry, peach and coconut to this year's event.

Smirnoff brand manager, Marsha Lumley, notes that the brand is all about creating original party experiences.

"By making special cocktails tailored to our events, this adds another dimension to our parties and makes the event more enjoyable and memorable for our consumers. When planning, we look at every aspect including our cocktails."

Vodka is one of the most versatile spirits in the world, and Smirnoff has utilised these new flavours and other Jamaican beverages to create mixes that are purely Jamaican, especially in celebration of our 50 years of Independence.

As with all Smirnoff's flavoured options, the new flavours are crafted using the award-winning triple distilled pure Smirnoff No 21 vodka. Here are the cocktails you can enjoy at Smirnoff Dream Weekend August 1-6, Negril, Jamaica.

Smirnoff Apple Dream

1.5 oz Smirnoff Green Apple

3 oz 7UP

Mix and serve chilled.

Smirnoff blueberry skies

1.5 oz Smirnoff Blueberry

2 oz Grace Blends Sorrel Pomegranate

0.5 oz Simple syrup

0.25 oz lime juice

Blend ingredients together in a blender with two cubes of ice. Serve in a high ball glass with a slice of lime.

Smirnoff copper peach

1.5 oz Smirnoff Peach

1.5 oz Tropical Rhythms Sprinter

1.5 oz Tropical Rhythms Legend

Blend ingredients together with a cube of ice.

Smirnoff coco mango tango

1.5 oz Smirnoff coconut vodka

3 oz tropical rhythms mango carrot

Mix in martini shaker and serve in a martini glass with a sprig of mint
