Fun, food and frolic - Ladies enjoy night out at Acropolis

The inclement weather did not stop the girls from taking a night out at The Arena, Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre in Portmore Town Centre on Saturday night.
The famous 'Castle' lit up, despite the rain, with beautiful women turning out in their numbers to indulge in fun, food, and frolic.
The women were in their element as Shelly-Ann Weeks, who is a sex educator and host of the programme Sextacy on Fame FM spoke on issues relating to sexuality as well as other delicate topics. She engaged the patrons on topics they would typically feel uncomfortable talking about. She was also the driving force behind most of the fun-filled games."The games were fun, so too the food and liquor," one patron who didn't wish to be named said.Ladies' Night at The Arena at The Acropolis was launched in July and will be a monthly series held at The Arena at The Acropolis Barbican, Portmore and Coral Cliff in Montego Bay. The concept originated from a Valentine's Day event Supreme Ventures hosted at The Arena at The Acropolis Barbican for 'single ladies on Valentine's Day' and was so well received the company decided to plan a series specific to this concept of a 'girls' night out'.
Admission was $300 and each patron received a complimentary Baileys-filled chocolate cup by Chocolate Dreams, along with gift bags and other surprises from the sponsors. Mudslide, Chocolatini and Baileys on the Rocks are on special for $300 for ladies' night and Acropolis also offer 30 per cent off all food. Overall, the evening is a guaranteed fun-filled event for the ladies. The Barbican event will be hosted on Tuesday, August 28 and Coral Cliff on Thursday, August 30. A patron, Nadine, had this to say: "It's my first time at this event, and it's pretty good. I had a lot of fun, I thoroughly enjoyed myself."
