Pulse's 2012 Caribbean Model Search (CCMS) is on in earnest. The Search, which was launched earlier this year, has gained significant momentum during the summer, the pivotal period of high recruitment for the seminal talent event.

An exciting call-to-action promotion, aired during the Olympics on CVM TV, has galvanised a huge number of young model prospects who are hedging their bets on a career in modelling.

The talented new faces for 2012 have already began to make well-heeled strides to achieve their goals. Gabrielle Davis, Kenny Wilson, and Monique Hudson (Swimsuit) along with Blair Whittingham, Shecardo Daley and Puma Grant (Runway) have already been declared Challenge winners for the month of July. The competition continues with the August Runway Challenge presentation show set to take place tonight (Saturday, September 1) at Studio 38, the Pulse bistro located in the heart of New Kingston.

There will be a special appearance by emerging music talent Jedani. The series of shows continues the last two Saturdays in the month when current and new entrants will get a chance to compete in swimsuit and runway challenges leading up to the grand finals.

For several years, the Caribbean Model Search has been the premier avenue for the region's top modelling talents seeking a career in international modelling success. Jaunel Mc Kenzie, Nell Robinson, Nadine Willis, Gaye McDonald, Oraine Barrett, and Jeneil Williams are some of the more recent successes of the Search.

Entries for CMS 2012 are currently being accepted at the Pulse headquarters on Trafalgar Road in Kingston, where interested persons are invited to come in every Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. with their swim trunks/swimsuits and heels.
