How should the CXC authorities tackle the matter of fake results?

Provide a verification service, so that employers and whoever uses the results can double check them against a database system. They could even make some money in the process!

If one was not in place before, I hope there will now be a process or chain, whereby one person will check the records then have it verified by a Supervisor before final authorisation.

Instruct all colleges and university to verify incoming students results with the council and make the process simple and free. Also, CXC should communicate with all reputable places of employment and encourage them to contact the council to verify applicants' certificate.

CXC can post on its website the number of subjects, type, grades the year students took the exams and the names of the students. Only one person should be able to post the information and this person should be changed each year by the head of CXC only with no one having previous knowledge of his choice. All of the markers of the subjects should send in their results to this person for posting. The markers should be marking papers for students who attend the school he/she works.
