How about a Jerk Chicken panini from Muffin Top Café? It is a great meal for on the go.

The newcomer to the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, in the Nyam and Scram lunch category, is serving up the sandwich combo which is a pressed grilled sandwich with a Guinness-flavoured cupcake.

"It's new and something which we are premiering for Restaurant Week," said Matthew Thame, assistant manager for the café.

The jerk flavour and, of course, their signature dipping sauce are two tastes you will be delighted with when you take a bite.

"It's jerk, so it's low fat," said Thame, who pointed out that the sandwich is also made with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. However, he emphasised that customers can tailor their dishes as they pride themselves on giving customers what they want.

"Everything we do is fresh," said Thame. "The next thing is we are consistent with our dishes," he said, as they focus on training their staff and ensuring that basic recipes are followed to the 'T'.

According to Thame, there is a great buzz around one of their signature frappacinos - the Guinness frappé - which has people calling the sweet treat with the slight aftertaste of Guinness, the New Kingston drug.
