Time to tantalise your taste buds
Beyond the allure of the restaurant property, Robert Joseph's famous Seahorse Grill at Montego Bay Yacht Club continues to make a huge impact on the taste buds with each dish prepared by the chef and owner of the restaurant.
It is no surprise that the stuffed chicken breast with fresh callaloo leaves, peppers, mushrooms, sweet corn and herbed butter continues to be a permanent fixture on the menu that has a diverse offering of local cuisine with an international flair.
"It is the combination of natural herbs and vegetables, along with how we cook it at Seahorse, why that particular dish is a favourite for many who dine here. We ensure that the flavours in each meal are well defined so as to give each dish character," chef Joseph stated.
Joseph is one of few executive chefs who are also restaurant owners in Montego Bay.
Creativity is not something that stands on its own, according to chef Joseph. The passion and true love for what you do as a chef is what also makes the difference and it is depicted in each meal that is prepared at Seahorse Grill.
Nestled on the serene property of the Montego Bay Yacht Club, Robbie Joseph's Seahorse Grill has opened its doors to everyone to come, eat and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere that is synonymous with the restaurant. Customers do not have to be members of Montego Bay Yacht Club to dine at Seahorse Grill.
"Come Restaurant Week, we want persons to come with an explorative palate as our grilled teriyaki pork chops, with pineapple-papaya relish, in addition to our red snapper fillet Florentine, pan fried in a mustard-herb-lime butter, are also meals I encourage persons to try," the chef said
Interestingly, the marina where this restaurant is located is the only place in Montego Bay where there are actual seahorses, chef Joseph confirmed.
