Great food, great vibe at M-10
Two years ago, a community car wash underwent a transformation and became what is today the hottest spot in Vineyard Town.
M-10 Bar and Lounge is the ideal hideaway to enjoy great food, good vibes and an entertainment package guaranteed to satisfy every taste.
The bar and lounge's popular themed nights will continue during Restaurant Week with a mix of fun and food from Sunday to Tuesday. This is its first year participating in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.
Proprietor Marvin Tenn told Food he thinks Restaurant Week is a great concept that provides the perfect opportunity for M-10 to show the public what they have to offer.
The week kicks off with an after-work jam on Friday, November 9, followed by live music on jazz night on Saturday. On Sunday, it's a throwback to yesteryear with oldies music. Games night begins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominos and other games will complement your meal of choice. Wednesday is all about '80s and '90s music, and Thursday is grill night.
But whatever night you decide to visit, you can enjoy their one-of-a-kind steamed fish or their hot-off-the-grill spare ribs, or delectable garlic shrimp, with your choice of mashed sweet potato, wedges, bammy or creamed potato.
GUARANTEED TO BE GOOD
With Claudette Tenn in the kitchen and Jason Rattray by her side, everything that comes out is guaranteed to be good. Mama Tenn's steamed fish is the talk of the town, smothered with a whole lot of love that can be found in only a mother's touch, and a bunch of okra, pumpkin, vegetables, produce and herbs, it's seasoned to the bone.
For Rattray's fall-off-the-bone ribs, it's all in the sauce, the contents of which he holds close to his heart. What is not a secret, though, is that it will certainly be a winner during Restaurant Week. And to top it off, sweet treats ranging from lovers cake (a blackforest, red velvet and cheesecake combination) or chocolate mousse will please every palate.
With ample parking and staff who are more than ready to make you feel at home, it has to be M-10 for this year's Restaurant Week.
