Bringing you a taste of Japan
Situated in the courtyard at the Market Place, East Japanese Restaurant is bringing a taste of Japan to those who enter its doors.
From its authentic Japanese food to the décor, the culture and tradition of the Asian country is brought to life. According to Assistant Manager Taichi Suga, this is how they wanted it to be.
"We want persons to come in and enjoy real Japanese food in the perfect setting showing off our Japanese culture, hence the décor".
Frequented by lovers of Japanese cuisine, Suga said that he is anticipating a lot of newbies during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.
"We would like to see people coming out who have never tried Japanese before. They will love it".
Guaranteeing a fine experience for all diners, East Japanese Restaurant has finalised its Restaurant Week menu and this Suga believes is a true representation of the restaurant's general offerings.
Headlining the menu this year, the teriyaki chicken is expected to be the most popular. Why?
"Jamaicans love chicken and the teriyaki chicken has a sweet taste that diners will appreciate," said Suga.
