Y Not Pita? That should be the question you ask yourself during this year's Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.

Opened about three months ago, it is located in the new Courtyard at 71 Lady Musgrave Road.

The contemporary streamlined design make the eatery perfect for its Nyam and Scram category.

With healthy, delicious and fresh ingredients, customers can customise their wraps filled with nothing but the best. All the pita wraps are done on a griddle right in front of you, so no frying.

You have a choice of a wide range of pitas. From jerk chicken, beef pepper steak, tuna, Mexicana (chicken tenderloin seasoned with fajita spices) and Americana (seasoned beef tenderloin). These you can top with any sauce and condiments. According to proprietor Nancy Hado most of them are made from scratch, including the very exciting spicy ketchup.

With toppings that range from hummos, red onions, green peppers, jalapeno pickles and a variety of cheeses, and limitless variety of sauces that range from mayo, sour cream to tahini and a soup of the day, the combos on offer for this year's Restaurant Week are sure to please.
