Make it special, make it Cuddy'z
Choosing an item from the menu at Cuddy'z during this year's Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week is an easy exercise, according to restaurant manager Janelle Waddell. Why? Simply because the customers' preferences were taken into account.
"We really chose popular items that are already on our general menu. So it was really based on what people like," she said.
Established eight years ago, Cuddy'z has been participating in Restaurant Week since inception. And for Waddell, the experience gained from its staging is both fun for workers and customers.
"Restaurant Week is normally fun as we have people coming out to try our different dishes. Overall, it is just a special occasion for everyone. It is exciting for all of us."
With all the rave about its Restaurant Week menu, Waddell was put on the spot to choose a star dish. And the one selected, she said, will go down very well with pork lovers.
"The man-of-the-match dish is a guava-glazed pork chops dish served with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. People love pork and the guava flavour is just a good complement."
The man of the match was selected to be a part of the menu since it is one of the restaurant's best-sellers.
