This perimeter fence at the former Ministry of Housing in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, was flattened by a falling tree during the passage of Hurricane Sandy.

More than two weeks after Sandy barrelled into eastern Jamaica, pedestrians have been forced to walk on to the busy roadway. The situation is even more perilous for blind commuters.
