Amber hosts second birthday party

Radio disc jockey Amber is gearing up to host the second staging of her annual birthday celebration, Party Like It's Your Birthday. It will take the form of a beach party in St Ann this Sunday.
"Party Like It's Your Birthday was a hot song during the first staging of my party, and the name is still relevant because it is my birthday celebration. Plus, it evokes fun, so it's also a good theme to work with," Amber said.
Amber's party will be open to the public and will be held at Priory Beach, one of the more popular beaches in St Ann.
"I decided to keep the party in St Ann, because that is where I work and it is also a great venue. The beach is very popular and normally has a decent crowd on a Sunday, so I know that this Sunday is going to be very big," DJ Amber said.
"The musical selection will be versatile. I was born in 1979 and so they will play music from that era. But further down in the party they will get new music like the Tommy Lee dem and so on," Amber continued.
"I also want to be different with the selections, because I want to stand out from other parties, because I find that the same music is being played over and over at parties, with no versatility. There will also be a live performance by Romain Virgo - a lot of people are looking forward to seeing that," she said.
DJs booked to play at the event include DJ Ice, Johnny Cool, DJ Sunshine and DJ Ashile.
Amber also hinted that the event will be star-studded with appearances by I-Wayne and Richie Spice among others.
Admission to Party Like It's Your Birthday will cost patrons $1,000 presold and $1,500 at the gate. "People, come out and party like it's your birthday. Must be 18 and older and leave the negativity outside. I am looking forward to this event; it's my birthday, I have a lot to celebrate. Promotions are going good so far and the energy is all positive," Amber encouraged.
The event is sponsored by Minkaluv Enterprise, Duss Till Daan, Extreme, Nature's Eay and SQ Records.
