Should it be compulsory for high-school male students to be involved in military service?

THEY'RE ALREADY TOO HOSTILE

No, many are already too aggressive. Get them involved in community service. They will learn to help, care and respect others.

I think that would be a good idea to have them do at least the training, maybe when they are 18 - at least on weekends for a few months.

If they are in high school doing military service, they could be taught a trade or a skill in a structured environment.

SEVERAL BENEFITS to such a plan

Yes. All our youth should be involved in military service, where they can learn marketable skills, teamwork, national defence, and national pride. It will also reduce the crime as more of our young people will have the ability to defend themselves. In Israel, when the young people leave the military, they already have enough skills to get decent paying jobs or start viable businesses.
