Celebrating at Secrets
Secrets Resorts and Spa, Montego Bay, laid out the red carpet last Friday night for The Gleaner Company Limited and the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica's (PSOJ) Jamaica 50UnderFifty business leaders awardees.
Hosted by The Gleaner's managing director, Christopher Barnes, and PSOJ's chief executive officer, Sandra Glasgow, it was an evening that saw Secrets' hotel manager, Deryk Meany, and his culinary team titillating the appetite with an array of mouthwatering sushi, desserts and tasty finger food.
The visitors who flew into the resort town for the celebration, included Flow's Denise Williams and her husband, Harold, Wisynco's William Mahfood, Exim Bank's Lisa Bell, Neil Glasgow, and Edufocal Jamaica's Gordon Swaby.
Among the persons welcoming 50 under 50 team to the second city were Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited's Mark Hart and his brother Blaise of Good Hope.
In celebration of 50 years of Jamaica's independence, the PSOJ and The Gleaner recognised 50 business leaders under 50 years old who, based on their current contributions to corporate Jamaica and nation building, are expected to make a significant impact on the civic and business landscape in the foreseeable future.
