WESTERN BUREAU:

One party, three birthday cakes, and three nurses administering their own prescription for the meaning of friendship.

America-born Florida-based registered nurse Christine Williams (who carries dual citizenship in sync with her Jamaican husband), shared the day with two of her friends and colleagues, Cheryl Fitzgerald and Rachael Mayers, who were also celebrating their 61st and 36th birthdays, respectively. This made for a fabulous night of celebration dubbed 'Three-in-one'.

William's husband, Nicolas 'Sonny Rankine' Williams, boasts that she does not look a day older than 16. But it was 50 that was inscribed on the birthday cake when Christine Williams and her friends invaded the fabulous Ironshore Golf Club in Montego Bay last Saturday. Local guests and a horde of friends flew in from the United States to party with the trio.

"We have all worked together at some point in our lives, and when I decided I was coming to Jamaica to celebrate my 50th with my family, Cheryl and Rachael opted to come, making it a very special March occasion," Williams told Outlook.

The women were serenaded by the young and talented singer, Yashanique.
