Do you agree with the Rev Eniola Davis that the morning-after pill should be promoted more among young people?

Where do these people come from respectfully? The dinosaur age? No, we need comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services for young people. Like seriously?

- Navaj Cutting Edge Campbell

It is already being promoted on radio, TV, in the newspaper and on the JUTC buses. Young people are already seeking for the pills. However, what remains is a system of collecting information by pharmacists to submit to the CDA as required by law. The law mandates the reporting, but many pharmacists are challenged by this, as pharmacies are not set up as doctor's offices are.

- Shereen Dawkins

No! The morning-after pill is emergency birth control and should not be used on a regular basis. How about a comprehensive sex-ed programme as a reasonable alternative to this ridiculous assertion!

- Monique McCarthy

Well, it is up to young people to take or leave his advice. I would say offer more Depo-Provera injections to them early. Or, offer some long-term contraceptive that will prevent pregnancy, which will hinder their education.

- Kadian Martin

Promote safe sex, not the morning-after pill, because it cannot cure AIDS.

- Mike N Miranda

Yes, I do. We need to stop running from reality. It doesn't matter what we do, these children will find any means possible to have sex.

- Tesha Scott

Yes, I strongly believe it should be promoted more, since we all know we can't stop them from having sex.
