Do you believe that the Jamaica Urban Transit Company should be granted a fare increase?

Only if mi get a raise, and a 2015 dat. Wi on pay cut long time now! Where are we to get the money to pay more fare? This Government is a leech a suck out everything. WAGE FREEZE, FARE FREEZE!

CAN'T SURVIVE

The Government needs to recognise that persons are already struggling to make ends meet, and with no increase in salaries, how is it possible to survive another increase? My answer is noooo!!

TOO MUCH PRESSURE

No. I cannot just ask for an increase when my living expense increases. The Government freeze wages until 2016 but on the other hand, they are pressuring us. More professionals will be opting to migrate.

What for? Are they gonna take less people, put air conditioning on all buses and properly train their drivers? Learn how to serve the public and provide good customer service?

They should not get a dollar more until they have improved their service. Their customer service is atrocious; they do not run on time, and the customer service representative, as well as the inspectors, are downright ill-mannered.

When they start employing competent people and improve the quality of their service, they can definitely get an increase. The inspectors in the bus park are the most ill-mannered, incompetent public servants in Jamaica. It is not because of a lack of resources why the JUTC is failing, it is because of the incompetent persons employed there.

Why does the Government need an increase when we are not getting an increase? The JUTC is providing for the public. It is not a private company looking for a profit. All they need to do is break even. And if the fare is raised, they need to run later then.
