New insight for global change

It is critical for all stakeholders - whether economic, political, security or the civil society - to seek divine insight for the nation to move forward.

The key questions for all organisations at this point are: 'How do I prepare my organisation for the inevitable change - whether positive or negative - that will take place?' 'What are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist for my organisation?' 'What will I need to do to remain in the market?' 'Will I need to retool, revamp or restructure?' 'What should my main areas of focus be going forward?"

Between now and August, we are going to experience global change. Most organisations usually employ market research to identify market trends. Some even use historical data, profit margin statistics.

Politicians often employ polls, media surveys and historical data to guide their decision making for the future; but all these can mislead and serve to facilitate poor decision making. If investors don't change their ways of thinking, they are going to lose millions and some will be out of business.

One will not have the insight needed on business, security, economic, health matters or national direction without reading the word of God. The advice of political and economic pundits is of little value in comparison to the wisdom of God. We need spirit-filled teachers to prepare the leaders and the nation for what lies ahead.

While age brings wisdom from experience to some extent, God's schooling brings even greater insight. Both young and old must equally seek to hear from God if we are to have a balanced society (Joel 2: 28). It is very important for advisers at any level and in any capacity to hear from God! (Exodus 24: 9-14; I Kings 12: 28)

Cyber Revolution

"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." (Daniel 12: 4)

While knowledge is increasing, most people are downsizing and attempting to increase their technological systems. Even children are being given tablets and iPads! Without the proper levels of integrity and control measures, how will we control cyber issues? Are our records and finances really safe? What about school, health and even prison records? Should companies be thinking of using manual records and go back to basics as a measure of securing pertinent information, documents and money based on biblical prophecies (Revelation 13: 16-18)? Are we seeing the three-point plan as outlined in Revelation coming together? A one-world currency, one-world religion and one-world Government, coming together?

We are now seeing clear indications of the cashless society coming to the fore wherever almost every financial transaction is being electronically monitored. Will cybercrimes affect the sovereignty of a nation; bringing financial hardships on them, forcing them to adopt evil, ungodly measures to survive?

According to USAtoday.com on May 9, " ... an alleged international gang of cyber-thieves managed to steal $45 million from thousands of ATMs in carefully coordinated attacks conducted in a matter of hours ... ." So it begs the question, How safe is anything of ours?

Bitcoins and E-money are digital currencies now rising to the forefront and are becoming more attractive to payment providers and merchants worldwide. Bitcoins is an experimental currency being tested in several economies today. E-money is a digital equivalent of cash stored on an electronic device or remotely at a server and can be used to make small payments.

Does this mean that the currencies of the nations will now be put under pressure to the point where they lose value and nations will be forced to accept these new species of money? It's something to think about because it affects every one of us.

Who is safe? What is safe? Are we and all we own safe? Someone could be a millionaire today and a pauper tomorrow; even more quickly than the traditional 'methods'!

We have seen the movies and heard the possible scenarios and we have laughed at, ridiculed and even ignored them, but now it's time to pay attention! These things are real and happening and we can ignore them no longer because we will all be negatively affected. New insight is needed!
