AP:South Korean protesters with placards bearing portraits of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto shouted slogans during a rally held against Japan in Seoul, South Korea last Thursday.
The protesters denounced Abe's previous pledges to revise Japan's past apologies for wartime atrocities and Hashimoto for commenting that Japanese military's forced prostitution of Asian women before and during World War II was necessary to "maintain discipline" in the ranks and provide rest for soldiers who risked their lives in battle.
