My male friend is attracted to gu

Doctor, one of my friends is suffering from sexual abnormalities. He is in his 20s, and he likes the idea of sex with guys. Apparently, he used to like only girls when he was at school but then started thinking about men. He told me that he has never had sex with anyone, but it is difficult to control his feelings. Could he have any treatment to get out of this problem? Please advise.

A: Well, I wonder if it is really your friend that you are talking about, or are you perhaps writing about yourself?

Anyway, let us assume that it is indeed your friend who has this problem. Sounds like he was fairly heterosexual while at school but has since become more homosexual in his outlook. It could be that he is actually bisexual.

I'm afraid there is no medication that is going to change him. The best thing he could do is to find himself a sympathetic youth counsellor who could spend time talking with him and thus help him to find out what his final orientation will be.
