Last Saturday, Gillian Prendergast-White transformed the Portmore Missionary Church hall into a pastry heaven. Her company, Occasions by Gilly Ann, hosted its first annual The Occasions Cake and Bake Show.

This show featured cake art exhibitions, live demonstration of cake decorating, cake competition themed summer days and fruit-carving competition.

The organiser also incorporated cake talk sessions to educate patrons on baking processes, as well as the catering aspect of the cake business.
