WESTERN BUREAU:Hands down! The Digicel/Secrets Resorts & Spas Pool Party was the best event yet to take place in the Second City for 2013.

It will require giant steps, precision and know how for any other host to top the Saturday afternoon event which defied thunder, lightning and hurricane-like rains, victoriously copping the number-one summer party trophy.

In fact, the Secrets-owned Seawind Beach Club in Montego Freeport will never be the same after the energy-charged baptism that it went through.

It was evident that the mobile giant came to shore-up supremacy, and this they did without much work. All they needed were the sexiest women in the country and some of the most chiselled Adonises on their 'by invitation only' guest list. It was also apparent that, when the Irish-owned Jamaican company partnered with Secrets, they ensured that no aspect of the great party was kept among themselves.

In fact, share they did with at least 500 patrons, led by the African-American singer and songwriter Flo Rida, who literally took charge of the event, doling out US$5,000 for the five best female dancers.

But, money was the least of the excitement this artiste created, spewing Dom Pérignon and Moét & Chandon all over the venue, including the patrons, while sending musical currents through the Reggae Sumfest venue last Friday night.

Between the Florida-born artist, the Digicel Girls and the deejays, including Kamal Bankay, this party was the bomb and Outlook has the photos to prove it!
