Avert math crisis
With a recent flash flood watch issued for low-lying and flood-prone areas of St Thomas, Kingston, St Andrew, St Catherine, Clarendon, and Manchester, do you think enough is done to prepare for the annual hurricane season?
That's a very serious warning for the island. We can't advance without mathematics. The govern-ment needs to hire more math teachers, set up a website to help school-children with their math homework.

I'm not sure what it is a lack of, but something is always lacking. Drains are not cleaned, etc. Definitely not fully prepared.

I don't think we are ever prepared for a storm or hurricane in Jamaica, so no. Perhaps lack of funds.
