Turning heads with Hatitude

 Karl Brown, the owner of Hatitude and the man with a flair for dramatic headpieces, has hit the road for the Hatitude Tour 2013. After showcasing on this year's runway at StyleWeek Jamaica, Brown has since booked numerous appearances on television and radio shows both here and abroad before deciding to embark on his 2013 road showcase.

The Jamaican designer has impressed many persons with his over-the-top dramatic pieces with the use of interesting and intricate detailing, bold colours and unique designs, so much so that he was spotted on a Caribbean showcase by Sofia Davis, producer/owner of the Fashion Avenue News Media Group and editor-in-chief of the monthly print magazine Fashion Avenue News (FAN).

FAN is a New York-based magazine that covers all the major fashion weeks - New York, London, Paris and Milan, as well as numerous fashion and beauty events around the world. Also keen on spotting new fashion talents, Davis contacted Brown and he was invited to showcase at Fashion on the Hudson as well as to arrange a photoshoot to be featured in FAN. Brown has also showcased at Caribbean Catwalk at Hotel Pennsylvania. The next show on the line-up for the Hatitude Tour is Fashion Fete NYC on August 19 at the m1-5 lounge in New York City. He tells us that he has his eyes set on the Canadian market for next year but, until then, the Outlook Magazine has captured a few images from the Hatitude 2013 road tour.
