Have you ever been in a season where, regardless of how good your advertising campaigns are, and how much you invest in your media campaigns - social and otherwise - and despite all the giveaways, deals and discounts you offer, the sales still sit way below your hopes and expectations? Have you been in a situation where you are getting pressured from every angle regarding your performance, and the financial institutions continue to pressure you to meet your financial obligations and you just can't see your way out?

Did you know that even during what we call a 'low season', God can allow us to experience significant increase? Psalm 68:9 says: "You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, when it was weary."

God's blessing goes beyond any market condition and trend! As long as we acknowledge that God is the One Who gives us tactics and strategies to make sales and increase profits (Isaiah 48:17) and gain customer loyalty, then He will also reveal the strategies you need to employ to keep your customers satisfied.

First, you must create an environment on a daily basis to increase sales. In the same way that natural laws and procedures exist today that govern what we do and what can happen, there are spiritual laws that support that. According to His word, the Lord loads us daily with benefits, so there must be instructions that we follow on a daily basis to unlock the benefits for increase in sales!

Something as simple as giving free advertisements to a struggling or small organisation, sponsoring a small, local church group, community team or activities and so on, even in your times of difficulty; have devotions in your organisation on a daily basis and even going to a church service once a month with your staff to give thanks for the previous month's sales - whether they were good or not!

GOD HAS SOLUTIONS

Remember that practising biblical principles are not hinged on religion. Biblical principles go beyond our beliefs and philosophies. If God created the business, then He also has the solutions when problems arise.

There are simple keys for success. For example, if there is unity within your organisation to achieve the company quota, then it can be achieved with surplus if there are no doubters. If you believe that your sales with result in $200 million for the month, then write it down on paper and on the board in your office or boardroom, and motivate each person to set a goal towards it - speaking/declaring on a daily basis that it is already achieved (even before the time frame), then you are going to achieve it!

Unity is the driving force for success in all organisations. When there is no unity concerning our policies, targets, goals and objectives, then the company will struggle. Unity and positive thinking and speaking create light, change and increase. It has the capacity to heal the economy which was first created by a spoken word. When organisations fail to honor God's favor for success within their businesses, sales will decline.

Solutions

During the low season of sales, make a vow to God stating what you will do when He turns the sales around, and be careful to honor that vow! Vows change the environment and bring promotion and success over your competitors.

Always trust God and ask Him to give you insight to market conditions. Many are paying millions of dollars to get advice from the wrong source, which leads them to make poor decisions and causes them to lose their shirts! Some even change their image and even rebrand with very little benefit or success!

Always pray for the success of your customers. Most just sell. But remember that if your customers don't sell, or are not successful in whatever they are doing, they can't give you the support and that will, in turn, boost your success.

Pray against bad cheques, bad debts, and counterfeit money coming into your business. Pray for quick collections after sales, and also that God will open your eyes to see new market opportunities! Pray that you will meet delivery schedules and not experience out-of-stock conditions. Pray that production will always be on target and that the staff will experience success also that they can be productive.

Pray that your marketing campaign will be child-friendly.

Remember, always treat all your customers with respect and courtesy and ensure that you treat each person you encounter like a potential customer.
