WESTERN BUREAU:

No two hotels in Jamaica are the same, and the Westender Inn is definitely in a class by itself. Located on the westernmost cliffs of Negril's West End, The Westender Inn is the perfect place for persons who want to enjoy peace and tranquility and be at one with nature.

The final hotel on the island's West End, Westender Inn, gives you the seclusion you desire to be at one with nature and the one you love.

Currently celebrating 30 years of existence, the resort bore the name Hog Heaven Hotel until it was renamed five years ago.

The resort is situated on seven and a half acres, and straddles both sides of the main highway. It boasts eight pinewood cabins, 10 ocean-front suites - each with a kitchenette, and four rooms close to the fringes of the cliffs, from where to enjoy the most spectacular sunsets.

Some of the amenities for the comfort of
guests include flat-screen satellite televisions, WiFi Internet access,
and all the rooms are air-conditioned.

Unlike Negril's
legendary seven-mile beach strip, the property does not have an
expansive white-sand beach. However, visitors can be cooled by the
freshwater swimming pool shaped in the map of Jamaica, as well as the
seaside saltwater swimming pool adjacent to the property's narrow strip
of beach.

The property is impeccably landscaped, clean
and well-fruited with tropical delights such as papayas, citrus,
plantains, bananas, and almonds. There is also a vegetable garden with
callaloo, pumpkin, melon, and tomatoes, from which guests can select
their vegetables to use if they choose to prepare their own meals. The
property's restaurant, Westies, provides authentic Jamaican dishes
prepared fresh daily, and, with a full bar, room service is available
for guests to order what they want and have it delivered to their
room.

The buildings also boast some impressive
artwork, including the work of Spanish mural artist, Joaquín
Vila.

The Westender Inn has constantly received solid
reviews and awards on TripAdvisor.com over the past
five years, including the 2012 Travellers Choice Award Certificate of
Excellence, and boasts a large number of repeat guests. It is currently
ranked number eight, of 94 hotels in Negril, by
TripAdvisor.

The property is private, but not entirely
isolated. It is a honeymooners' haven where they can enjoy romantic
nights under the stars or in a hammock, as the property lends itself to
peace, tranquility, and
romance.
