Lunch with E-Class
The two-minute shuttle in the air-conditioned comfort of the spanking new E-Class Mercedes Benz saloon was the prelude to a memorable luncheon launch of the latest luxury models to arrive at the Silver Star Motors showroom.
It was only fitting that, since it was a media introduction to the new arrivals, lunch be served in the E-canteen consisting of bar and rectangular dining table dominated by the company's signature blue napkins.
Fresh from his recent victory at the 'Right Some Good Black Box Competition' in Sydney, chef Dennis McIntosh laid out a feast fit for the discerning owners of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
McIntosh's menu consisted of: oven roasted conch and pumpkin bisque, panko-coated chicken breast, capers and black olives, pineapple slaw and pasta salad, tropical fruit tart, and orange chiffon with butterscotch caramel.
Surely after such a meal, you will be more than willing to write the cheque for $ 9.5 million for the E200 - Elegance; or $12 million for the E300 - Avant garde or 'only' $10.5 million for the E250 - Coupé. Of course, prices are subject to change based on options.
