Wrong time for a war!

It is critical for us to know times and seasons, and to inquire of God when nations and kings should enter into war.

"So David inquired of the Lord, saying, 'Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" (I Samuel 30: 8)

Even as David was being pressured by his own people, his city was burned, he suffered loss and was distressed, he inquired of the Lord because he understood the spiritual significance of God's will on as significant an issue as war. If God is not with the king in the war, it can be devastating for that king. David understood that the war must first be won spiritually in order to win it physically. If God is with you in the war then you will win it!

Many world leaders and the mass media are encouraging the United States to get into the war regarding Syria. However, have they considered the cost of getting into the war - not the monetary costs, but the cost to the people of the nation? (Luke 14: 28 -31) Have they considered the backlash against the nation and the effects on the economy? Wherever we are, do we have enough gas masks, food and medication to deal with the backlash which comes with entering a war? Are there any prophetic utterances or scriptures that we should be watching in relation to it all?

The scripture we should be looking at is Daniel 7: 2-3

"In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts. Daniel spoke, saying, 'I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other."

The enemy is trying to allow the law of the four to be fulfilled before the time; the four winds and the four beasts symbolizing war, strife, the judgement of God, death and global problems! Nobody wants the Battle of Armageddon to start before the time. (Ezekiel 38 -39)

The success of a leader and a nation is to inquire each time what the Lord's will is on a particular matter, in order to prevent further disaster.

America Should Not Get Involved

Many are pushing the President of the United States to get involved in the war, but the president has to seek God for himself now since this has the potential to bring global catastrophe! Many of the nations may very well pull out and leave America standing alone in that battle.

What America needs to do is build up and replenish after all the wars they have been fighting and protect home base, especially certain strategic areas! This is a distraction! Is America being set up for a fall? Could it be that some are so determined to see the president fall that they would set him up without realizing the possible repercussions on the nation and the world?

America should get involved in humanitarian efforts because it will be needed after this fight has started. Allow the United Nations to lead an initiative in working with the Red Cross, other NGO's and the Arab nations for the peaceful exit of President Bashar al-Asaad!

Then they can rally the world to get into serious prayer for peace! Only God can allow wars to cease; including allowing a natural disaster to occur!

"He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire." (Psalms 46: 9)

Going to war without getting divine guidance from God has the potential for global pollution, increased starvation and death especially of children! There is also the possibility of attack on Israel which can trigger even more suffering. It will also mean more burning of churches and christians; and can lead to the establishment of an even wickeder regime. This has the potential to bring disaster for the Western world.

Many people, especially westerners, are not concerned about the Middle East. For them it is a distant place and an even more distant issue. But everything and everyone is connected and what happens there affects us all. Global leaders and media must understand that there are wars that cannot be won with military force; but have to be won spiritually! This is one such war!

This is the time for every man to be on his knees!
